Why the name "Skip Hire Gateshead"? It started as an underground supper club in an old industrial yard in Gateshead, England. We cooked pizzas in a modified kiln next to a skip hire company.
The name stuck. When we moved to Singapore, we brought the grit, the sourdough starter, and the name with us. We've upgraded the location, but the soul remains the same.
